In February I spoke to the Primary President and offered to make all the kids in our Ward baptism towels. She thought that would be a great idea, and it was perfect timing too because the first baptism was going to be that weekend. I sent a text to all the mom's asking what their child's favorite color was so I could try and make it a bit more special. We have 7 kids total in our ward. It was also the weekend that we were leaving to go to my nephew, Dustin's, baptism so the Primary President said she would only need Kesley's by the weekend. Well, I figured I would just do them all so I wouldn't have to remember. Then, the morning that we were getting ready to leave, Hoss mentioned that Bailey, the daughter of one of Sexy Farmer's cousins and also a girl in his class, was getting baptized that day too. So, I sent Lacy, Bailey's mom, a text and asked if her ward was doing towels. She said no, so I told her how Hoss wanted me to make one for her. She mentioned that Claire, another one of Sexy Farmer's cousin's kids, was also getting baptized that day and she would like to purchase one for her. Well, that was just silly, so of course said no, but that I would make her one. So, that morning, I hurried and made 2 more towels. We dropped off Bailey and Claire's at the Sheriff's Office with Claire's dad, and then all the ones for my ward at the parts store for our Primary President to pick up later after she got off work, then we hit the road to Rigby.

A few days ago, I got asked if I would make baptism towels for the other ward. Of course I said yes. They got me the kids favorite colors, and I was surprised because the color pink was next to a boy name. I verified that the correct color was listed and even talked to the mom to try and make sure I got a "manly" pink for him. I love the way they all turned out.
