Our niece has started to dance in competitions. Her first one was yesterday and I thought it would be super fun to go watch. Since Daphne isn't a member of a team, her mom wanted her to still feel like one of the girls. She made her this awesome jacket to wear to her competitions.
I loaded up the boys and we headed over to Boise. We picked up some flowers to give to her after her very first performance. Duke wanted to do the honors of giving them to her, but I think Hoss ended up doing it. She looked so cute and did an awesome job! She is soo super flexible.
When I told the boys we were going to watch Daphne dance, they weren't too excited. However, Duke didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay and watch more. But, we did end up leaving before they handed out the awards, but holy moly, look at this thing! She got 1st place! It's taller than she is!
This is her teacher and choreographer, which also happens to be the wife and daughter of Sexy Farmer's cousin. We are so proud of and happy for her. Now where to put that trophy?!
Today I got this text saying how much Daphne appreciated the flowers. That she "loves her flowers and has to check on them everyday". So adorable. Proof that little deeds go a long way.
