Halloween

Duke has been asking to be a Ghost for Halloween for quite a while now.  So, we found one online that he liked.  Well, as soon as Hoss saw it, he thought he needed to be one too, even though he had already decided on something else. So, we ordered another costume, just a bigger size.
Boone got his turn in the Dragon costume.
We didn't do much trick-or-treating.  Just the trunk-or-treat at church.  I sat in the van and passed out candy, dressed up in my clown costume, while Sexy Farmer took the boys around the parking lot.  They enjoyed the haunted house inside of a cattle trailer.

We asked if Lilli dressed up and we got this picture.  Not sure what she was dressed up as, but we were happy to get the picture!  Miss her so much!

October Pack Meeting

We headed back to Weiser for Pack Meeting so that Hoss could earn the awards he worked on with his Wolf Den in Weiser.  They have such fun Pack Meetings, so much thought and preparation.
The Fire Department came and they had relay races while they dressed in the fireman's gear.  Again, marking more stuff off in their books.  Love that idea!
When Hoss was receiving his awards Sister Despain mentioned how much she is going to miss him.  She actually said, "Their family must not have liked it here because they are moving already". She then followed up with the fact that Sexy Farmer got a new job.  She did try and convince us to stay and said that her husband drives to Meridian and back for work everyday so Weiser to Vale should be no problem.  She's such a hoot, I love her.

We Moved......Again

Why is it that almost every time we move I'm pregnant?  However, we figured it would be best if we moved and got settled before the baby gets here.  That means we will have to make a run for Weiser in labor but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
After looking around at different houses in Vale, my parent's ended up buying a new house so they offered for us to buy their old one.  It works nice because the price is right (our payment will be cheaper then renting) and it's out of town with 5 acres which makes plenty of room for the kids to play and ride their 4-wheelers without us having to worry about them wandering off.  We've never been town people so we were pretty worried how the boys would do.  Glad we don't have to find out.

Sexy Farmer isn't too excited about the Ward we will live in because he's always been in the other ward.  But I assured him the church is still true on the other side of the tracks.  I'm sure he'll warm up after a few weeks.

Brandon and Hoss stayed behind a few days to finish up the week at school and finish cleaning the house to turn back over to the farm.  This is how they ate, makes me laugh.  Sexy Farmer has always been creative with stuff like this.
Sexy Farmer will finish up the rest of the year with Sage Farms, but after this week, he will start commuting from Vale.

Duke - 4 Years

Height - 3' 3.5"
Weight - 33.6 lbs

While we were looking for Boone's cake, Duke saw a spiderweb cake and decided that was the one that he wanted for his birthday.  We placed an order and he talked about it all day.
Since their birthday's are so close together we wanted to do something a little more special.  So we got birthday hats!  He LOVED them.
Duke is really into Paw Patrol right now.  He has each member of the family named as one of the characters. (Dad - Marshall, Mom - Rubble, Lilli - Sky, Hoss - Rocky, Duke - Zuma, Boone - Chase, Tess (our dog) - Ryder)  So gift giving was easy.
He's grown almost 3 inches this year!  He is really into making messes, but absolutely LOVES to "make" with mom in the kitchen.  His favorite thing to "make" is banana bread and could eat a whole loaf himself.

Boone - 2 Years

Height - 2ft 9in
Weight - 24.6 lbs

Boone is growing and growing so much every day.  He really doesn't talk much, at least words we can understand, but he can communicate in other ways.  He loves to give hugs, loves to dance, loves wrestling his older brothers, and loves the baby in my tummy. He loves going to work with Sexy Farmer, but also loves to be home and read books with mom.  He's currently showing no interest in potty training, so the hopes of having it conquered by the time the baby shows up isn't looking good.

He really enjoys Peppa Pig so when we saw this pre-decorated cake, we knew he would love it!

He was super excited to stand on the scale to be weighed.

And did MUCH better than last year with the growth chart.

Duke's First Kill

This man has shot his first animal.  A mini target even!  He was at work with Sexy Farmer and spotted a mouse.  The good thing about the mouse is that it was all doped up on poison so it couldn't run away very fast.  Sexy Farmer helped him make the kill.  He held the gun while Duke pulled the trigger.  He was very proud of himself.
