Quiet Book Pages 1 & 2
I am "sew" excited about the Quiet Book that our sewing club is making! We are each in charge of bringing a page to make. Kelli Ruf brought the first page and we made a "David & Goliath" theme. I LOVE it!! However, I can totally see Brandon utilizing the sling-shot during Sacrament Meeting.
The next page was mine. I have some of the Finch Family File Folder books, so I put one to work for this page. I used Iron-on transfer paper and LOVE the end result. Now Hoss can learn how to count at the same time as learning the 10 Commandments.

Everything I've Missed
It's been a busy little while since I've posted anything. Here's quick recap...
I FINALLY finished the Growth Chart I was making. Now where to hang it?!?!

We sold our Mustang. It was a sad day.

We tore out the 2 massive Pine Trees with the backhoe.
While doing so, Brandon sliced an underground powerline that ran from our house to the barn AND accidently tore up the underground sprinkler system.
Now we have no grass and lots of work to do. It meant no laundry for 4 days while he fixed the power and a future new sprinkler system. Not fun. He insists that both lines were not deep enough and that it wasn't his fault for digging too deep or getting overly excited with the backhoe! :)

I've sewn 24 Aprons, and have 36 more patterns cut out waiting to be sewn. Sorry, no picture of that one. I was just way too excited to have some done that I took them straight to church without snapping a picture first.

The Chamber now has an office!! I am soooo excited to get all of the Chamber stuff out of my house and into the office! I can see my dining room table again!
Lilli fell asleep one afternoon while reading her book...
Hoss has decided that it's easier to do his business outside instead of on the "pony". Just open the door and pull down your pants!
Funny story, but kinda gross so bear with me - I heard Hoss saying "Potty" and open the sliding door. I peaked around the corner to make sure that he went all the way outside and I see him standing on the mat. As I look closer I can see stinky coming out of his cheeks, but by the time I got there it was too late. He didn't squat or anything, just stood there and let it drop. I had to explain that if he wants to go potty outside that is fine, but our stinky always goes in the toilet!!!
Rachel, Kelli and I have started a sewing club. The first time I helped with some of the basics. They both make REALLY cute skirts for their daughters. Now we have moved on to making quiet books. I am SEW excited for this!!! I'll keep you posted with pictures as we complete pages. We are actually meeting today so I should be getting my page ready instead of blogging, but I have neglected the blog for too long. Anyway, here is Kelli and I at our first sewing adventure. (Thanks for letting me steal the picture, Rachel!)

The Chamber has decided to host Diamond Rio this year, so that has taken LOTS of my time.

And MUCH, MUCH more, I'm just not in the habit of taking pictures. I'll work on that!
